At Photoroom, we're passionate about enabling entrepreneurs and businesses to compose images that stand out. We believe in fostering an inclusive, remote-friendly, and diverse work environment where creativity thrives. That's why interviews are a two-way street – a chance for you to learn about us, for us to meet you, and to work out if this is a good match.
This guide will walk you through our recruiting process and give you some tips to prepare for successful interviews!

We'll start with a discovery call to get to know each other and see if there's an initial fit. This will be followed by a technical interview with the Hiring Manager to assess your relevant skills and experience.
Following a positive first conversation, you’ll meet with the Hiring Manager for a technical interview. This step is designed to dive deeper into your background, successes, and challenges, and give you a clearer view of the role and its challenges.
You'll receive a home assignment to assess your core skills related to the specific role. This is your chance to showcase your abilities in a practical way.
After completing the home assignment, you'll have a call with the team to delve deeper into your work, understand your thought process, and answer any questions you may have.
If everything goes well, you'll be invited to participate in our final interview round. This typically consists of a half-day of discussions, either onsite or remote, focusing on Photoroom’s values and culture, with a diverse panel of team members.
We'll conduct reference checks to gather additional insights about how you work best and to understand more about how you’ve used your skills in the past.
During this chat, we'll dive into your compensation and benefits package and what your first days with us will look like. We also want to hear from you! Come prepared with any questions you might have about the role, our company culture, or how you can grow your skills here – open communication is key for us, and we want to make sure this opportunity aligns perfectly with your career goals.
